The book, “Qisas Al-Anbiya (Stories Of The Prophets)” is written by Hafiz Ibn Kathir, a renowned Islamic scholar and historian. The book provides a comprehensive collection of narratives and biographies of various prophets and messengers mentioned in the Quran and the Hadith (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad).

The book have been compiled from the book “Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah” which is a great work of the famous scholar, Imam Ibn Kathir. The book, Stories of the Prophets have been supported by the Qur’anic Verses and the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh).

Wherever it was necessary, other sources have also been reported for the sake of historical accounts, but on such places a comparative study has been made to prove the authenticity of the sources. Ibn Kathir has reproduced the views and interpretations of all the great exegete’s of the Qur’an of his time. The systemic narratives of the Stories of the Prophets have been written in chronological order which renders a historical style to the book.

The book contains the true accounts of the pious lives (Seerah) of the Prophets, their exemplary way of life, their sacrifices in the name of Allah, their proclamation for the Message of Allah and inducing the people to follow the right path and forbidding the evil things.
