Among the Salaf books written to refute the people of innovation is that of Imam al-Bukhari, Khalq Af’aal Al-Ibad, a refutation to Jahmiya and beliefs.

The book began by mentioning the sayings of the Sunnis on the Jahmiyyah sect and the ruling of the takfir (Apostasy) on those who embrace its ideology.

In the second chapter, the author discussed the issue of the creation of actions and proved that the actions of Man are created, thereby replying against the Jahmiyyah sect in this subject.

The book is one of the basic books that have preserved for us a large collection of sayings of the predecessors among the Companions and the followers regarding the Jahmiyyah sect and those who adopt their statements; it also showed us the best way to respond to the people of heresy.

The book includes many comments by the author on the referential texts, and that he not only narrates the texts, but also had replies against the suspicions cast by the Jahmiyyah.
